What if I didn't die?

Bright light near blinded her, while the freezing water engulfed her body, dragging it down to the shadows below. Her consciousness was fading, causing momentary hallucinations. The red pieces of metal that floated momentarily before her almost looked like roses. She loved the color red, it could be so beautiful. She could see red liquid mixing with the blue looking water. She was bleeding, and from the amount of blood in the water, she must have suffered an large injury.  Air. She was running out of air.  She hadn't really been afraid at the time, but now, fear gripped her like the hold of death,
soon would.

The sound of waves, washing up, upon the shore filled the air. The body of a woman was lying upon the shore, her orangish pink, dress shirt torn and stained with blood, while her red, tight skirt with shorts underneath were ruined. She was soaking wet, and had a large gash on her stomach. Pieces of red metal littered the area.  
"Mommy!" a small little girl screamed as she ran back to her small colony in the mountains in the Helic Republic. There weren't very many people living in the mountains, though there did happen to be a small town not too far from the colony. Rumor had it that the Guardian Force had been seen at a mansion that looked out upon the coast, that turned out to be producing illegal weapons.

"Mommy! Mommy! There's a pretty lady out by the ocean! She is bleeding! She's bleeding!" the little girl called out in a hurry.

Several other people living in the colony had heard the commotion, and ran over to the scene.  Two women ran to get the priest, while others offered what little help they could give. It wasn't long before the two women returned, the priest close behind with a first aid kit in tow. It wasn't much they could do, but until help could come, it could be the difference between life and death.

"Look at those pieces of metal. What could they have been from?" a curious man asked.

"From what I know, it looks like it could have come from a Storm Sworder. That looks like pieces to one of it's boosters. Perhaps it crashed into the water, and exploded on impact."  Another woman answered.

"Storm Sworder? You don't think it could have come from that mansion, do you?" Someone else said with wondered.

"Could have been. I haven't heard much on the raid of that mansion, except that it was lead by the Guardian Force." Another person agreed.

"Well, whoever she is, she needs help. Someone, go call the military base. There isn't much we can do for her here." The priest called out.   He had done all he could for her, but it still wouldn't be enough. Luckily, there was a military base not too far from the coast, and the colony. It also happened to have a large medical center, the only one in this area.

It wasn't long before a hammer head arrived, ready to take her to the emergency center. Like it's name implied, it was modeled after a hammer head shark, with weapon ports on it's head, and fins. This particular one was black, with orange glass covering the cockpit, and no weapons attached. Instead, boosters on it's fins allowed it to get patients to medical help quickly.  Carefully, the woman was loaded onto the Hammer Head, it's engines still roaring with life. The people of the colony watched as the doors closed, and it raised strait into the sky from where it had landed. It hovered for just a moment, adjusting it's boosters to propel it forward, and then it sped off with incredible speed, off to the medical center. There, she would be treated, and soon her wounds would heal, all except one.
